Finesse by Aleezay Afghan is a premium organic skincare brand dedicated to delivering high-quality body and skincare oils, lotions, and treatments. Our design approach was centered around elegance, purity, and luxury, ensuring that the brand’s visual identity reflected the sophistication of its products.
Design Strategy & Execution
Our goal was to create a refined, clean, and visually stunning brand identity that highlights the purity and luxury of the products. We began with an in-depth competitor analysis and market research to identify industry trends and positioning opportunities.




Challenges
Finesse products were already selling well but due to the old packaging style, they were unable to penetrate the higher pricing market.

3. Place an order using Finesses' own app. Creating the end to end solution from Product intro to purchase.
4. Order tracking by generating warehouse tickets.
5. Central calendar repository for product warehouses to monitor stock and updates.

Why Direct-to-Consumer Beauty Apps Are Transforming the Market
With the rise of mobile-first shopping experiences, beauty brands are shifting from traditional retail to direct-to-consumer (DTC) app models. But why should companies engage women looking for premium beauty products through an app-based experience rather than a physical store?
Key Insights
While a DTC approach expands accessibility and removes retail barriers, it also presents unique challenges—particularly in the beauty and skincare industry. One of the biggest hurdles is overcoming consumer hesitation when purchasing fragrances they can’t smell or skincare products they can’t test firsthand.
For Finesse, an organic skincare brand targeting affluent women aged 28-48, the priority was to create a seamless, high-end app experience that encouraged fast and confident purchasing decisions. The brand’s product lineup featured four primary skincare categories, each with three variations, making intuitive navigation and a frictionless checkout experience essential.

• Personalized recommendations powered by user preferences.
4. Frictionless Checkout & Order Tracking
• A one-click checkout system for rapid conversions.
• Live order tracking designed using case studies from leading eCommerce apps like Zara and The Iconic.
